From there, it became an important logging center in the Northwoods and many businesses have formed based on the timber industry in our area. After seeing the success so many of our customers are having with our FAE mulching heads, we’re proud to pilot one of FAE’s newest products: remote-controlled tracked carriers. We are anxiously awaiting the early 2023 arrival of two units, the RCU-55 and RCU-75 to demo for our customers… get in on this early! We’re signing up customers for demos now.
These FAE RCU compact tracked carriers can mulch on steep slopes up to 55°. The heavy-duty undercarriage features a hydraulic variable track system with independent undercarriage frames for maximum stability on steep terrain. The high-profile rubber tracks combined with the undercarriage’s triple-flange style oscillating rollers system provides unbeatable traction. The dual hydrostatic transmission makes it easier to manage traction and the attachment, making this unit an excellent asset to our customers’ fleet.
