About LMS JCB

In the heart of “America’s Dairy Land” in a small town called Rhinelander, you’ll find LMS Equipment. Our Rhinelander community is famous for its connection with the logging industry and the lumber boom of the 19th century. From there, it became an important logging center in the Northwoods and many businesses have formed based on the timber industry in our area. New businesses bring new opportunities, and owners quickly show a need for support in areas that haven’t yet come into fruition. That’s how LMS Equipment got started! Our customers had a need for quality products within the forestry, construction, landscaping and even snow removal sectors and we answered that call.

Our offering at LMS Equipment has grown overtime to include many different brands to fit our customers’ needs. Here, you’ll find brand names like:

We’ve branded our JCB side of the business LMS JCB to show the emphasis we put on this heavy equipment. We’re proud to serve counties throughout central and northern Wisconsin and fulfill their equipment needs with products like our industry exclusive side-entry skid steers, the world’s best-selling backhoe and industry leading compact excavators, at price points that fit into our customers’ budgets. To support operations of any size we also have large and compact wheel loaders, large excavators ranging from 32,000 – 82,000lbs, telehandlers with lift capacities from 13ft up to 83ft, scissor lifts, rough terrain forklifts, site dumpers and more!

Our JCB equipment offering doesn’t stop there, we have access to the latest technology on the market with JCB’s innovative electric offering for zero-emissions operations and we’re quickly moving into the hydrogen powered units too. After inventing the backhoe loader in 1953, JCB has remained on the forefront of the industry ever since and has pioneered the design of many different products in the industry today.

Industry leading products come with a world-class support team to back them up. Our facility in Rhinelander has factory-trained technicians to support our customers’ needs both in-house and through our traveling tech team. Our highly trained technicians are dedicated to maintaining and servicing your equipment so you can get the most out of your purchase. Here at LMS, we know that when there’s work to be done, you need your machine running smoothly and efficiently. We are here to support our customers, season after season.

After seeing the success so many of our customers are having with our FAE mulching heads, we’re proud to pilot one of FAE’s newest products: remote-controlled tracked carriers. We are anxiously awaiting the early 2023 arrival of two units, the RCU-55 and RCU-75 to demo for our customers… get in on this early! We’re signing up customers for demos now.

These FAE RCU compact tracked carriers can mulch on steep slopes up to 55°. The heavy-duty undercarriage features a hydraulic variable track system with independent undercarriage frames for maximum stability on steep terrain. The high-profile rubber tracks combined with the undercarriage’s triple-flange style oscillating rollers system provides unbeatable traction. The dual hydrostatic transmission makes it easier to manage traction and the attachment, making this unit an excellent asset to our customers’ fleet. We’re excited to introduce these units to our market!

With these exciting products and all the support products we have to compliment them, our team stands ready to meet your construction, landscaping, forestry, snow removal and excavation needs. We have dedicated account reps for each brand to ensure our customers are getting the most out of each purchase with us.
